Once unpacked, the programs can be loaded and run in the Prolog engines supported. Currently these are, the SICStus and Yap systems. MCMCMS was developed on and is supported in the Linux architecture. We use the Slackware distribution, it may thus be necessary to recompile some foreign code used in computing the likelihoods as described in Section 4.3.
